Helpful Resources for Veterans and Their Families

First, know that you are not alone.

If you or someone you know is having thoughts of suicide or self-harm, there are resources available that can help. Crisis text and call lines are free and confidential and will connect you with someone who will listen and can help. These resources are completely anonymous - no one will have to know that you contacted them.

Even if you're unsure about what you are feeling, understand that it is absolutely fine to call if things don't feel right.

If you need help or you are worried about someone else, but don't know what to do - Do Something - Call or text someone.

Veterans and families come from around the nation to pay their respects at Pensacola’s Veterans Memorial Park. The park has also become a place where veterans can honor those who have passed and reflect on their own service. Parents, brothers and sisters, friends, husbands and wives, and children of our fallen warfighters also find the park to be a peaceful place for reflection. The park is a place where the service and sacrifices of our Fallen are honored and are woven into the fabric of our community.

The Veterans Memorial Park Foundation board of directors recognizes the park’s importance as a place of solemn remembrance and its ability to help with the healing process. We invite those in need to tap resources like those that have been assembled by VetCV.
